Decided to just update my blog with my Korea trip in Jan this year, so here I am after abandoning my blog for the past 1 year. I'm sorry! There are about 950 photos in total for this 9D8N trip, I only uploaded about 900 on Facebook, so I'm just gonna pick up photos which are relevant and to the main point but I foresee myself uploading too many pictures haha. To be honest, I felt like I didn't spend much for this trip since I only spent about 1500sgd for the whole trip plus accommodation/air tickets/spending. This is my first trip overseas with friends and self planning so it wasn't that perfect but still I'm glad to step foot in Korea after so many years. I strike off a lot of places from the initial itinerary.
Firstly, we were going by budget so we chose the cheapest air tickets we can find at that time. Malaysia Airlines with 30kg baggage allowance, tickets about $600nett per person. I swear I love international airlines much more than budget airlines because of the baggage allowance and they make sure they feed you full before letting you down the plane, hahaha. There's like 2 "meals" in that 6-7 hours flight (after transiting at KLIA), a complete meal and a small snacks which I remember to be a sandwich and a wrappo back.

They have Mirotic Album in flight! I totally spammed the songs all the way~

Finally landed in Incheon Airport at 6am in the morning. It was freezing since it's January, labelled as the coldest month in Korea's Winter time. We immediately wore our winter coat~ We took the Airport Railway to our destination at Sindorim.
About Accommodation, we browsed a few places, studying location and price most especially and Gladys helped book a whole apt located near Sindorim station. The price was quite ok for the 3 of us since for 8 nights it only cost us 3 about $200 per person. It boils down to $25/night with the whole apt to ourselves. (Since I don't really prefer guesthouses thou its cheaper). Sindorim station has about 2-3 big shopping malls, technomart and links 2 main line (Line 1 and Line 2). The apt is located in a corner and on a high level so it's view is really nice. You can see the sunrays in the morning and the night lights at night feeling the city. Tbh, I really liked the apt a lot, like a comfy space to ourselves, and everything smells niceeee. I really like sleeping on the floor with the pink sofabed plus pink comforter. Plus, there's a 24h minimart downstairs and we always went down to get some midnight snacks!

Us going out after plenty of rest, taking a selca using the lift's mirror :) It's really that cold that we have to wear thermal wear + winter coat + scarf + gloves.

We were quite tired when we reach the apt at about 10am since we lost our way from the station. No one went to research on how should we walk after we reach Sindorim, we went further with advice from a helpful uncle but still lost thou the place was like 5 mins walk from the station. I walked around the whole neighbourhood and finally found the place. The host was waiting in the apt and helped us carry in our luggage when he saw us. He's quite friendly and left us his contact number. He introduced everything in the apt and also a few popular places around :)
The 3 of us decided to rest a bit before exploring the surrounding areas in the evening, having food from the food court at the shopping mall. I had my first gongcha there heehee. We walked around all the shopping malls there and it's quite big with many levels available. When we got home, it's already 10pm so we decided to wash up and decide on our itinerary for the next few days.
